Organized by the China Optics and Optoelectronics Manufactures Association LCD Branch and Nikkei BP, China International Display Industry Forum 2014 was officially opened. The LCD supplier including BOE, LG Display, Huaxing Optoelectronics and other business leaders attended the forum and had a speech.

       Chinese Academy of Sciences academician Ouyang ZhongCan analyzed recent data and indicated that in 2014, China's flat panel display market share will increase to 18.6% as the only keep growing region in the world. By 2015, China's TFT-LCD production will reach No.2 in the world. The production capacity of 8.5-generation line, which is the most suitable for the production of television screen, will be the highest in the world. Based on the domestic flat-panel display capacity improving, in 2014, Chinese manufacturers’ smart phone market share will reach 32% globally!

      Deputy Director, China National Institute of Industrial and Information Technology Electronic Information Division DiaoShi indicated in Beijing that China has four industrial zones, but compared with the display powers in the world, China's industrial-scale is small and scattered, facing problems like lack of innovation, intellectual property issues etc. Therefore, China should strengthen the planning and layout to further guide the direction of industrial development, and implement the relevant industrial planning, promoting concentration, promote joint industry.

      In this meeting, BOE , China panel manufacturer, believes Chinese panel companies should strengthen global cooperation. Innolux Taiwan and AUO have a speech regarding of large-size LCD panel development 4K elaborate. Huaxing Optoelectronics also said it will increase the large size and high definition investment.
