During India Diwali, the large-size LCD TV sales for the first time is more than the small size TV. DisplaySearch said that the recent sales figures about Diwali was exciting. Regardless in town or village in India, 32 or 40-inch TV sales for the first time is more than 50% in the local TV market, however, in the past, 27 inches or less is the mainstream.

DisplaySearch analyst Yang Jingping said that emerging markets such as India, South America and Eastern Europe in 2015 will be the fastest growing TV market, but in emerging markets, the sales price and the size have been low. With the Indian television market size raise up to 32 and 40 inches, is expected to consume more LCD panel production capacity.

Because Indian television market is not only larger in size, and in this year’s Diwali, Samsung, LG and Sony and other brands have also introduced 4K2K, even ATVs, the Indian market for ATVs acceptance began to improve, AUO and Chimei-Innolux Taiwan LCD panel shipments will rise.
